C12-14 (BG 600) Alkyl polyglycosides in manual dishwashing detergents

Since the introduction of artificial dishwashing detergent (MDD), consumer expectations for such products have changed. With modern hand dishwashing agents, consumers want to consider different aspects more or less according to their personal relevance.

With the development of economic production technology and the establishment of large capacity production plants, the possibility of industrial application of alkyl glycosides began to appear. Alkyl polyglycosides with an alkyl chain length of C12-14 (BG 600) is preferred for manual dishwashing detergents. The typical average degree of polymerization (DP) is around 1.4 .
